- Include breaks in your schedule. If you sit for long time periods at work, you may want to schedule a time to get up every 30 or 40 minutes to stretch and walk around a bit.
- Keep it at eye level. By keeping your computer screen at eye level, as well as mobile devices such as phones and tablets, you can reduce neck strain. When you tilt your neck downward for many hours at a time, you increase the amount of stress your neck is under.
